The 19216 is a wireless doorbell kit that contains 1 wireless transmitter, or push button, and one plugin doorbell receiver. The transmitter is battery powered and the receiver plugs into a standard 120 V wall outlet. This means you can easily move the receiver from room to room and enjoy the quality sound no matter what room of the house you are in. If you don't want to plug and unplug this wireless doorbell receiver you can purchase additional add-on wireless doorbell receivers and plug them into different outlets through your home or office. Likewise, if you need wireless buttons on additional doors, add-on wireless buttons are also available. The wireless transmitter that ships with the kit comes with an installed battery to make setup even easier. The front cover of the receiver features a red led to provide a visual indicator when the transmitter is communicating with the receiver.
The wireless chime receiver is constructed out of white ABS plastic and has a slight curve to give it a sleek look. The front cover has a small LED that flashes when the transmitter is communicating with the receiver.
