With all of the new technology out there, it is a whole new ballgame. You can take a hard drive – formerly the province of a big tower computer – and set it on your desk or dresser in your room and connect to it via your wireless network. Amazing – can you imagine that the world of personal computing has come so far? How about the fact that when you want to listen to your entire record collection, there is no more searching through vinyl bins or CD stacks – you merely boot up your laptop, access your iTunes and blast away. Today’s wireless technology enables you to also hook up your entire home stereo system to your computer system to enable you to have full command of your record collection from any room in the house. Pretty amazing stuff, right?

Don’t forget about cell phones and other wireless technology. It used to be that you had to go into an “Internet café” when you were traveling to log in to their LAN network. Not so much now – just bring your laptop to your nearest coffeeshop at effortlessly log on. Video games? Gone are the days of consoles where you had to be in the same room as your friend or competitor on the game – now you can play against people from all over the world in games that feature hundreds of players just by logging in to an online “lobby”. Gaming and Internet access has never been easier.

Because technology is important and access is critical, you never want to miss a delivery or a person coming by to interact with you because you didn’t hear them.
